How to delete an Infura API key

Say you're no longer using one of your Infura API keys, or one of your API keys accidentally got published on a public repository; no worries, you can easily delete your existing key and set up a new one.

Delete an Infura key​

To get started, make sure you're logged in to your MetaMask Developer dashboard.

  1. Firstly, navigate to the Infura RPC tab in the sidebar, and access the key you'd like to delete by accessing the key selector in the top left. If you only have one key, it'll be selected by default, so go ahead to the next step.

  1. Now that you've selected the key, the "Configure" button in the top-right of the page. Then, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and find the "Delete API Key" button.

  1. Once you click, a dialog will appear, asking you to confirm that you want to delete the API key. Make sure you do, and then click again to proceed.

You're all set! If you'd like, you can easily set up a new API key.
